Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Coast
A helicopter hovering over a crowded coastal beach unexpectedly started spinning wildly, eventually descending rapidly and crashing into a cluster of palm fronds as beachgoers looked on.
Videos posted online show the helicopter starting to spin over the shoreline then falling in the direction of the perimeter of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.

Local firefighters reported five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three people on the road were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
